Deeply Disappointed Department
Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 07:13AM I’ve been watching Barack Obama campaign for some time now. Seeing him pander to the far left elements of the Democrat party during the primaries. Reviewing his voting record in the U.S. Senate, and in the Illinois state legislature.
And now, I see him acting like some sort of moderate, as a centrist, even.
That’s not the Barack Obama I knew. I’m deeply disappointed.

I find right wing USA politics compeletly horrifying---deeply psychotic even, full of a hell-deep murderous rage.
In the context of USA politics altogether what is "far left", especially as all the angry gun-toting militias are on the right of the culture wars---and are just itching to take out a few liberals/lefties etc---including of course Obama himself.
Can you even imagine anyone wanting to assinate either McCain or Palin.
Meanwhile I quite like the assessments of the state of USA politics altogether given on this site.

Please check out this description of John McCain's history and hence his character which he displayed during the 3rd debate.

On the basis of this article I would say that McCain is unfit to lead anyone and anything.
Plus have you come across the recent Open Letter To John McCain by Frank Schaeffer who used to be an influential figure in the USA "religious" right---until he woke up.
It is very much about how McCain & Co are pandering to the very worst instincts of those on the right of the USA culture wars spectrum.
